Vbuzzer is a suite of instant messaging and internet telephony software that bridges the internet and the public switched telephone networks (PSTN).

You can send and receive both instant messages and voice calls to/from other Vbuzzer users on the internet. There is no charge for voice and data that travels entirely on the internet.

If you want to save on calls to and from regular phones as well, then you'll want to subscribe to the Vbuzzer service. This is necessary because whenever Vbuzzer connects to the Public Switched Telephone Networks (PSTN), there are costs incurred from those networks.

This means that Vbuzzer users need to pay a small fee for the outgoing calls they make to regular and mobile phones, as well as for the incoming calls made to their Vbuzzer phone number. These fees are much lower than those charged by the traditional carriers.
